Cubic Films created a film for TEDx Sydney to raise awareness about the urgent need to reduce waste, and make products that are good for people AND the planet.

Goodbye Industrialist. Hello Circulist. stars Finnian James & Mia Bloom and features inspirational words from Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Greta Thumburg, Barack Obama and Kathy Jetñil-Kijiner.


THE HOODOOS

Cubic Films collaborated with high school student and conservationist Finnian James to create The Hoodoos, a short documentary about the geological conditions that formed one of the most unique landforms in North America, The Hoodoos.

Finnian James won 2nd place at the V-Fest Student Film Festival for this personal and insightful film.

INSPIRED ARCHITECTURE

Cubic Films worked with boutique streaming platform Shelter on an original, six-part series Inspired Architecture, about sustainable and off grid builds, and the inspiring people who brought them to life.

After a multi-award winning run in art and design festivals around the world, we were asked to produce another season of the series, as well as standalone documentary Permanent Camping 2.

THE MEANING OF VANLIFE

The Meaning of Vanlife follows modern nomads who have abandoned traditional housing to live a life of freedom on the road. A movement exemplifying a deeper societal trend towards minimalism and authentic community building.

Supported by over 500 backers on Kickstarter, The Meaning of Vanlife has screened at Vanlife gatherings, film festivals, environmental think tanks and over 20 sold-out screenings around the world.

It went on to win Best Foreign Documentary at Arizona International Film Festival, as well as being acquired by streaming platform STAN.

The Meaning of Vanlife soundtrack features musicians from within the Vanlife community, including Dusty Boots, Karrie Hayward, Adam Harpaz, Mitch King and Lonesome Shack.
