Inspired Architecture

Inspired Architecture is written and directed by Jim Lounsbury, focusing on the people and influences behind a number of unique and sustainable Australian builds.

“Each instalment of ‘Inspired Architecture’ is small but perfectly formed, a bit like a tiny Grand Designs after the fact.”

Brad Newsome, Sydney Morning Herald

Circulist @ TEDxSydney

A SHORT FILM ABOUT THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Goodbye Industrialist. Hello Circulist. features inspirational words from Severn Cullis-Suzuki, Greta Thumburg, Barack Obama and Kathy Jetñil-Kijiner.

Conceived as a talking point around the urgent need to reduce the consumption and waste of our non-renewable resources, it features a sculpture created out of found items that is discovered in the heart of the forest.

Starring climate warrior Mia Bloom and up-incoming actor Finnian James, the short film featured a score by Jason Fernandez and stunning VFX work by UK based Pizko Studio.

A Gallery of Selected Work

Much of this work is long form drama, documentary and branded content, but we have also chosen to share some work we’ve done for multinationals, not for profit organisations and individuals (such as our actor friends).

Regardless of budget or scope, we approach every job with the same creative enthusiasm and attention to detail.

Experience. Passion.

Behind_the_Scenes_Vanlife_2.jpg

From original concepts, scriptwriting and storyboards to the facilitation of international co-productions, crewing and securing traditional and creative distribution channels, we are passionate about helping distinctive content get made and seen.

As a result, the content we produce is seen, shared and written about on the worlds most used platforms and networks.

Case Studies

CLIENT | NIDA Showcase

Motel is a play by Rose Treloar that debuted at NIDA Studio theatre in September, 2025. We worked with Rose to create a promotional campaign that would work across social media, and capture the energy of the main characters, while providing intrigue and a visual representation of the play, rather than just film rehearsals and show the actual performance.
